To teach is to learn
Hello darlings. Today was amazing. I get to work at 7:40 as I do everyday and Mrs. Freeman (the assistant principle) stops me and say one of the teacher is really sick and needs to go home but they can't get a sub for her class and wanted to see if I would be interested in being in her class til they could find one. Fortunately for me they didn't find one so it was all me all day and it was the best experience ever. I got to do everything the teacher does without anyone watching my every step. Of course I have so much to learn but it was a good test for myself to see how I could handle everything. The kids were a little nuts at times but you have to take control and thats exactly what I did. It really made it all worth it when we were getting ready to leave and the kids were asking if I would be back tomorrow as their sub because they really like me. I'm so proud of myself and I can't wait to finally get to be able to go back to college and get my degree and do this everyday. It is what I have always wanted to do and ultimately what I will be doing one day. I feel I have the passion, drive, and patient to do it for the long run. Only those willing to learn from the kids are the ones who can actually be great teachers. So never give up on your dreams or think things will never go your way. You have to have faith in yourself and the way things are. Everything happens for a reason rather good or bad. You grow from all experiences in life and mature everyday. There is always something new to learn so soak in any and everything out there. NEVER STOP BELIEVING!

One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant teachers, but with gratitude to those who touched our human feelings.  The curriculum is so much necessary raw material, but warmth is the vital element for the growing plant and for the soul of the child.  ~Carl Jung

About
A pleasant conversation and occasional laughter make everything worth it. My family and friends are most important. I don't enjoy liars, or cheaters. I'm pretty impatient most of the time. I'm fairly laid back with a pinch of outward hostility. I think its important to have goals and morals. Religion is a great thing to believe in, however it shouldn't overwelm your life; even the bible says that. Politics are fun, and I try to keep up. I'm a sucker for children, animals and the elderly. I love to start a good book and just get lost in it. I love talking shit, and sometimes it gets me in trouble ♥
